From the list at Conservapedia (no, really) of examples of bias in Wikipedia.
- Wikipedia allows the use of B.C.E. instead of B.C. and C.E. instead of A.D. [Yes; allows - Fletcher.]

- Wikipedia often uses foreign spelling of words, even though most English speaking users are American.

- In breton "wiki" means liberal, and "pedia" means bias. The founders of wikipedia were celtic.
As a number of people have pointed out, any website which advertises its idiocy as prominently as this one does is going to be a magnet for parodists. So who knows how much of what's there is deliberately funny or just funny.

Blogsearch claims I have not posted this before, which I suspect is a lie, but the site has been updated since last I took an interest in it in any case.

And this is the most amazing Astronomy Picture Of The Day I've ever seen.

I found these with that stumble-upon thang which like other addys of its type would seem to be sending link-blogs to the dustbin of dead-tech. Gad! This might force me to generate some original material! Meanwhile the idea of providing personalised content based on the viewer's stated interests and rating of previous content will gradually expand to all areas of media such that eventually those who so wish can ensure their daily news consists entirely of stories about rescued puppies. Which should be a significant demographic if the publication of a book like this one is anything to go by.

'Chewbacca' arrested for head-butting in Hollywood
"Nobody tells this Wookiee what to do," 'Chewie' from the Star Wars movies said before slamming his head into the guide's forehead...
Weird how this story is everywhere. Now obsessive Star Wars fans can have hours of fun writing angry letters to those news outlets that mispelled "Wookiee". (Start with the Jerusalem Post, boys. And the Australian got it wrong in the headline!) Oh, and, normally I disapprove of police brutality, but...
Two years ago, Mr Incredible, Elmo the Muppet and the dark-hooded character from the movie Scream were arrested for "aggressive begging", the LA Times reported.

Kyle Cassidy's Armed America
Portraits of Gun Owners in their Homes

Both via Goodshit, which unfortunately (or fortunately, as you may prefer) mixes interesting links with soft porn, so NSFW. I wouldn't be caught dead there if it wasn't a favourite source for Barista, I'll have you know! GS got the Cassidy portraits from Monkeyfilter.
